Choose fewer bases
For a first Rajasthan trip, Jaipur and Udaipur offer a strong contrast: a lively planned city and a lakeside setting. Add Jodhpur when the available time supports another base.
Give each place a full day
Avoid arriving late, sightseeing briefly and moving on again. Two or three nights in a city creates space for both major sights and quieter discoveries.
Build around the heat
Earlier outings and a relaxed afternoon often work better than a continuous sightseeing day. Leave room for lunch, gardens and time at your hotel.
A route to discuss
Begin in Delhi, continue through Agra and Jaipur, then allow a proper transfer day towards Udaipur. An onward flight or a buffer night can make the end of the journey easier.
